Pharmacy Staff

Christopher Plummer, PharmD, Pharmacist in Charge

Chris originally hails from Greenup County, Kentucky and came to Wheeler’s in the fall of 2022 after stints at several independent pharmacies around central Kentucky including Knight’s Pharmacy in Berea, and Redding Drug in Lexington. Chris graduated from the University of Tennessee with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2002. But we don’t hold his orange influences against him. He is a true-blue fan underneath those coke bottle glasses. Chris is married to the very lovely Laura, and together they have 2 children, Luke & Grace. He enjoys watching his kids play soccer, playing video games, and singing along to the radio.

Lynne Eckmann, PharmD

Lynne, a Senior Care Pharmacist, is Director of our Home Connection Program, a specialized medication management for seniors.  She joined
the staff at Wheeler in 2006. She received her B.S.  and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Kentucky in 1991 and 1992, respectively. Lynne has over 23 years of geriatric experience in consulting and clinical pharmacy practice in community and long-term care settings. She also serves as preceptor through the University of Kentucky Community Pharmacy Residency Program.  She stays busy outside of work with her husband and four children.

Wayne A. Bryant, RPh

Wayne has been a Pharmacist at Wheeler Pharmacy since his graduation from the University of Kentucky in 1972. Before becoming a pharmacist, he worked at Wheeler's since 1967 as a clerk and delivery driver. He is slowly inching his way into retirement as he now only graces us with his presence 1 to 2 days per week. He likes to play golf during the warm months so he's a self-described "fair weather golfer" and likes to work around the house year-round. He has been married to Marty for over 40 years. Together they have one daughter, Katie, and 2 granddaughters.
